City of Houston's Certified Event Planner, Founder and CEO of Divine Works, Inc. Adeyemi Susan Finnih was raised in London, England. Her upbringing in the UK has paved the way for a bright future. Susan has always had a knack for planning but her decision to move from New Jersey to Houston has opened many doors for her in the event planning industry. It was in Houston that she recognized her planning and event coordinating gift. Susan attributes a large part of her success to moving to Houston, TX, a decision that she believes drastically changed her life positively.
Susan began her journey of planning in 2010 and in 2012 she had the opportunity to work with a Major North America Organization in hosting its first ever Mr. and Miss YASM Pageant in Atlanta, Georgia. Susan held her first large event in Houston, TX also in 2012 and the huge success led to DivineWorks being Event Manager for their third annual Event. Thereafter Susan decided to venture back into wedding planning. Susan’s passion for wedding planning began in 2010 and around this time she spent time assisting other wedding planners so as to gain more knowledge and experience. Susan is a Christian; she is fun-loving, adventurous, caring, dedicated, unique, and a focused individual who strives for perfection in everything she does.
One of Susan’s many passions besides being a Wedding/Event Planner is none other than Acting where she was Featured in various stage-plays and viral videos. Susan is an individual that brings joy and comfort to her family, friends and Clients. This joy and comfort translates into positive energy alongside any project that she is a part of.
