Our Founder

Adeyemi Susan Finnih

City of Houston’s Certified Event Planner, Founder and CEO of Divine Works, Inc. Adeyemi Susan Finnih was raised in London, England. Her upbringing in the UK has paved the way for a bright future. Susan has always had a knack for planning but her decision to move from New Jersey to Houston has opened many doors for her in the event planning industry. It was in Houston that she recognized her planning and event coordinating gift. Susan attributes a large part of her success to moving to Houston, TX, a decision that she believes drastically changed her life positively.

Divine Works_Miracle Shepherd

Meet Miracle Shephard, the social media manager and coordinator for DW! She received a bachelors degree from Oral Roberts University majoring in liberal art studies. Miracles journey into the world of social media management began with a passion for storytelling and a fascination with the power of digital platforms. She is passionate about helping people and loves events!
Miracle finds joy in singing and immersing herself in different cultures.

Meet Deborah Amuli! Deborah graduated from Arizona State University with her concurrent Bachelor’s degrees in Marketing and Management and completed her Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Houston. While Deborah works full-time as a Social Media Manager for a beauty brand she’s always had a love for events and, especially weddings! Deborah’s ability to effectively communicate, attention to detail, and professionalism make her a great asset to our team.

Ms. Wumi Andrew has recently joined our team of DivineWorks Coordinators, bringing with her a keen aesthetic sensibility and a meticulous approach to event planning. She possesses the unique ability to recognize and enhance the beauty in each client’s special moments, demonstrating her passion for orchestrating a wide range of events with professionalism and flair.
Not only is Ms. Wumi dedicated to her craft, but also committed to continuous learning and improvement.

Meet kelechi, graduated from The University of Texas at Dallas with a Bachelor of science degree in Healthcare Studies. I loveee to coordinate and plan events, weddings from beginning to end. I’ve worked with weddings, worship concerts, and conferences, mostly as a producer/floor manager. I enjoy working with DivineWorks and I love to plan events and to see the aftermath after it’s done.

Meet Jessica Nosa our beautiful new addition to the DW team! She graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with her Bachelors in Biology before relocating to Houston to complete her Masters in Anesthesia. She currently works as an anesthetist in the Greater Houston area.
Jessica enjoys the excitement and the community she builds during event planning and does so with so much joy, energy and enthusiasm. She is detail-oriented, efficient and a woman of her word. She is truly someone you can trust with any event.
